The year of the tiger is here. And this year, as the first day of the year of the tiger falls on Valentine’s Day, calendar confluence means tiger love.

As usual, Agenda has it covered on all bases. This issue – out now – features lists of romantic restaurants and spa packages, as well as Beijing’s most uproarious temple fairs. Culinary anthropologists will enjoy a roundup of a dozen tiger-inspired Chinese dishes (none with actual tiger meat, of course), including where in Beijing to find them.
